My passion and approach
My passion lies in supporting organizations and teams in making progress. I find it rewarding and energizing to make others successful. I am focused on creating smooth interactions and I use a practical approach. I put a really strong emphasis on the WHY of organizational programs and initiatives. Because ultimately it is not about tools or implementations per se, but about the impact that was targeted in the first place. I am results-oriented and am keen on providing clarity in complicated matters. I thoroughly enjoy discussions and sessions at C-levelbut I equally enjoy interactive workshops with departments and teams or training and coaching employees .
I have been self-employed advisor since 2019. Before that, I have worked for 14 years at Randstad in various senior finance roles, including 3 years as a finance director at Randstad Belgium. During the last 5 years, I have been shaping and supporting the global deployment of continuous improvement and customer-centricity within the local head office functions.
I am also a lecturer in the Executive Master Finance & Control programme at the Amsterdam Business School (ABS, University of Amsterdam), where I provide lectures on performance management, goal realization and management methods. In addition, I am associated with the Finance & Investments Department at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM, Erasmus University).
